Moths are gone!!!

Within a few days at room temperature most or all of the eggs hatched and tiny wasps emerged. The indian meal moth population in my house has been significantly reduced with in a couple weeks with just 3 cards. How do they work, and why target the egg stage instead of adults?

Trichogramma females lay their eggs inside moth eggs; the developing wasp consumes the moth embryo, so no larva ever hatches. Because it’s the larvae of clothes moths that damage fibers (adults don’t feed), interrupting the egg stage prevents new damage from starting.

How long until I see impact?
